low poly portrait (superman)
For this project my main objective was to put plain color polygons over an original image to create an abridged version. Primarily, I used the Polygonal Lasso Tool and Eye-dropper Tool to create triangles (as it was a project requirement). It should be noted that this process grew extremely repetitive as time progressed, because my Action tab didn't work. Instead, I had to make a triangle, use the Eye-dropper to implant a color and hit Edit to fill in all the space within the triangle: believe me, this was tedious. I was able to create more specific features in the face by using smaller triangles and combining them together to create a gradient. As I said, my greatest challenge was not being able to access the Action tab, even after I was helped by my teacher (I think it had something to do with a certain family member altering my profile's background picture). Despite the time I put into it, I feel there is plenty of room for improvement; even thought I consider Superman complete.
